*First of all, There are 4 key points in the lecture of this week.
1. When technologies connect or separate people, they become media.
2. Technologies embody social, political, cultural, economic and philosophical ideas and relationships.
3. When a medium is new, it is often used to simulate old media.
4. New media do not replace old media, they displace them.
Also, In this class, the most important key point is 'People make media and then media make people'.
*The word 'World Wide Web' is abbrebiated to 'WWW'. WWW is standard. Why ? Here are example. For example, language is standard. Without language, we are not communication. Likewise, WWW is necessary for internet. In this class, a definition of the word 'WWW' is ...
1. A collaboratively authored hypertext.

3. The www is a vast, heterogeneous network of people and machines.
*And we learned about this : ISO, IETF, RFC, ETC...
Firstly, ISO is a network of national standards institutes from 145 countries working in partnership with international organizations, governments, industry, business and consumer representatives.

Also, W3C means world-wide web consortium. This is develops web standards and guidelines.
HTTP is an internet protocol designed for transferring information for hypertext documents.
*In succession, we looked about products of Nam Jun - Baik. He is a pioneer of video art. I feel like exciting. Because his products are very surprised. I don't think about this a present. He is very smart. He passed away 2 ears ago, but he remains in every people memories.

First of all, we are summarized the contents of lecture to last week.
* There are two matters of consequence to last lecture.
1. When technologies connect or separate people, they become media.
2. Technologies embody social, political, cultural, economic and philosophical ideas and relationships.
* What does “digital media” mean?
I think that "digital media" is a useful things. We live to very convinience life by "digital media". For example, TV, Internet, Cell Phone, etc...This is a sort of digital media.
Suppose that These things have no place in the world....Be terrible life !!!
* There are two matters of consequence to this lecture.

Also, focus of this lecture is ' Hypertext '.
'Hypertext' is One way that digital media has been understood is as new forms of writing, reading and thinking.
And we learned to Tristan Tzara's recipe for composing a poem. Place them in order following...
1. Take a newspaper.
2. Take a pair of scissors.
3. Choose an article as long as you are planning to make your poem.
4. Cut out the article.
5. Then cut out each of the words that make up this article and put them in a bag.
6. Shake it gently.
7. Then take out the scraps one after the other in the order in which they left the bag.
8. Copy conscientiously.
After a process of manufacture, He makes a media so-called 'Cut-ups'.
Finally, we learned about engelbart. He is a famous revolutionist.If he is out of existence, then we are so inconvenienced. Because He invented a basis of a present computer. He invented mouse, e-mail, 2d display editing, etc... we thanks to Engelbart.

정보기술개론 첫번째 과제.
We learned about 'media technology' and three people
who has contributed to development of 'media technology' in this week.
First of all, 'media technology' has two key points.
1. When digital media technologies connect or separate people, they become media.
2. Technologies embody social, political, cultural, economic and philosophical
ideas and relationships. The car and egg are example for this.
Also, we learned about 'computer technology'.
computer technology does not necessarily start as silicon and gold and need to be implemented as hardware or software.
Second, There are three people who help to growth of 'media technology'.
One of these was george boole who was inventor of Boolean algebra, which is the basis of all modern computer arithmetic.
Another person is charles babbage. He originated the idea of a programmable computer.
Last person is vannevar bush. He is MIT professor and inventor of 'differential analyzer'. By the way, an instrument,MEMEX,was based on bush's work. We are find for document to easy because of MEMEX.
In my opinion, we caused so comfortable by the advance of technology.
However, we are lost load because of the changes happening at too fast pace.
I hope that regulate the pace to advance of technology.
And I think that my English ability is very very very low. So I do not understand to this lecture. But I become higher to my English ability. Thank you for your lecture.
